National Sales Manager (Insurance) for NCR, India

Presently we have the confidential mandate for the following permanent position with our client who is a leading globally located company. At the moment the client distributes exciting Life Products in India . In time a General Insurer's products will also be added to their line of products.

The positions are for their Indian offices located at New Delhi, India. Candidates with excellent communication skills in Indian languages will be eligible. Preference will be given to candidates from the NCR

Designation: National Sales Manager

Reporting To: Country Manager

Role Overview:

The jobholder will be primarily responsible to develop and manage sales team and drive the sales numbers. Job holder will be responsible for implementation of sales plan to achieve desired sales objectives for the assigned distribution channel. The jobholder will work closely with the Country Manager, Chief Marketing Officer, Sales Team and will be responsible for managing the assigned sales team. He/She will be responsible for ensuring achievement of the sales targets and driving training strategy

Candidate Profile:

Must have 12-15 years of experience in sales in a insurance company and 2-3 years of experience into heading large sales teams with exposure to product design ,marketing activities. Knowledge of insurance industry is mandatory. Ideally the candidate should have exposure to a national role
