Our CMMI Level client at Dubai seeks following for a 12 months extendable contract for their DIC, Dubai offices. Candidates with requisite certifications only shall be eligible for the position.

Oracle 10g DBA

Location: Dubai, UAE

Contract Duration: 12 months extendable

Candidate Profile:

Overall Exp: 6 Years with at least 4 years exp in 10g DBA

Experience in Oracle 10g installations, administration, design and development.
Strong experience with UNIX shell scripting, Data Guard and RAC

Role Overview
Install, configure and upgrade Oracle server software and related products in a UNIX environment. Create and implement Oracle backup and recovery methods and disaster recovery methods using RMAN. Database tuning for optimal performance to meet Business SLA. Design, test and implement Oracle high availability solutions.
Establish effective performance monitoring procedures, security and access control

Role Description

Experience
Minimum 6 years of experience in systems development, with proven results on oracle 9i, 10g platform

Mandatory Skill Sets:

Unix , UML, CAST usage, Oracle 10gAS
Definition and Application of best practices in design and coding
Databases and query languages (ORACLE / SQL)
Oracle Developer (Forms, Reports & PL/SQL)
Understanding of development frameworks, Object Technologies
